Bilbo House
Not only is Tylertown conveniently
located, it is a popular spot for
those who like to canoe the
Bogue Chitto River or Magee's
Creek.  Holmes Water Park,
downtown, is bordered by
Magee's Creek and features a
paved walking trail with seven
adorable bridges.  Walker's
Bridge Water Park allows Bogue
Chitto access, and no admission
is charged at either location.

For those who do not own a
canoe, canoes or tubes may be
rented at Canoe and Trail
Outpost or Sweetwater Canoe
Rental.

Tylertown is also home to the
Bluegrass Festival, Dairy Festival
and Christmas in the Park.
The newly restored Bilbo House is
now available for parties and other
events.  The rooms connect and
create a free-flowing space perfect
for groups of various sizes.  Over
1,500 square feet, with beautiful
muted pastel walls and luxurious
hardwood floors, the setting could
not be lovelier.  Bilbo House is simply
the perfect spot for a bridal or baby
shower, tea, special birthday party,
family reunion  or a beautiful intimate
