*The Walthall County Appraisal Office has in place GIS mapping. This offers the
tax payer a digital view of property lines, ownership of properties, and aerial
photography in color.
* The Walthall County Appraisal Office does a mass appraisal of the county. Every year, the Walthall County Appraisal Office rides 25% of the county thourghly and spot checks the rest of the county not covered in that 25%. In four years, we have thourghly covered the entire county.
* The Walthall County Appraisal Office cannot help you if you only have an address. We have mailing addresses only. We map according to the legal description on the deeds provided to us by the Walthall County Chancery Clerk's Office.
* At this time, the Walthall County Appraisal Office does not have a website. You can come into the office or call the office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. We will be happy to assist you.
* The Walthall County Appraisal Office is unable to make copies or scan anything larger than 11x17 in size. Please call before bringing in blue prints, personal maps, etc..
