The largest community event of its kind in the area, Tylertown’s Christmas in the Park is a colorful Christmas display of millions of lights staged at Holmes Water Park. Over 25,000 visitors enjoy the display each year. Admission: Cars - $5, Commercial Vans - $10, Passenger Buses (16+) - $20. The park is open nightly from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. through New Years Eve - weather conditions permitting.

Wagon Rides
Friday, Nov. 20 and Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026 5:00-9:00 Preview the 40-acre lighted park in a wagon pulled by a tractor. $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12. Tickets available at the Bazaar - Southwest Events Center. Walking Tour Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2026, 6:00-9:00 The only night of the year that you can come and get an up-close view of the lighted park, strolling through at your own pace - Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children. There will be hot chocolate and cookies for a donation and both Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for children! |

- Santa Comes to Town - Friday Dec. 4, 2026 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.. Join Santa for photos and Mrs. Claus for stories, cookies and milk. Centennial Square.
- Country Christmas Festival – Friday, Dec. 11, 2026 - Old-timey demonstrations, refreshments, and entertainment at downtown businesses.
- Country Christmas Craft Show - Friday, Dec. 11., 2026 ~ 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.. AgriHeritage Center. More info.
- Prize Drawing - Friday, Dec. 18, 2026 ~ 6 p.m. at the AgriHeriage center $1,500 in Tylertown Shopping Dollars and other great prizes to be given away (must be present to win). Entertainment starts at 5 p.m..

Each year different lighted displays may be purchased as a memorial or honorarium for a one-time donation of $75. It's a nice way to honor friends or family with a gift that will be enjoyed each holiday season by the many visitors that tour Christmas in the Park.
