Memorial Day Ceremony Monday, May 25, 2015 5:30PM Legion Hut American Legion Post 56 hosts a Memorial Day Ceremony on the last Monday of May. Dairy Festival Saturday, June 6 Holmes Water Park The Dairy Festival is held the first Saturday in June at the Holmes Water Park within the city limits of Tylertown. The festival is a day-long celebration that includes arts-crafts booths, a spelling bee, a sack race, turtle races, and a fireworks display among many other events. Crafts, food, music and lumberjack competitions Magnolia, MS 39652 Sawdust and Splinters Festival - is a combination event of World Champion Lumberjacks and nationally recognized Chainsaw Carvers. The two-day competition will showcase the athleticism, endurance, strength, agility, talents, and sportsmanship of a wide range of articipants. Enjoy the Bazaar without missing the holiday adventure through the decorated water park. Tickets for the WAGON RIDES are available at the Bazaar for $5. Christmas in the Park - WALKING TOUR Southwest Events Center Wednesday, Nov. 25 - 6-8:30 p.m. Start the holiday season with a leisurely stroll through the elaborate lighted holiday display at Holmes Water Park. $5 per person. Hot Chocolate, coffee, cookies are available for sale. Bring your camera and take free photos with Santa! Christmas in the Park - DRIVING TOUR Holmes Water Park Nov. 26 through Dec. 31 Christmas in the Park – open nightly from 6 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. (weather permitting). Each year local volunteers host the elaborate lighted holiday display at Holmes Water Park from Thanksgiving Day until New Years Eve. $5 - personal vehicles, $10 - extended vans, $20 for buses.
